Diplomat, advisor to A. von Wallenstein. Tried to ease tensions between Wallenstein and Emperor Ferdinand II after Wallenstein´s dismissal and managed to have him re-appointed chief commander. 1636 represented the Emperor as ruler of Lower Austria, Upper Austria and Hungary.
