Baron Jacques-Denis Cochin, born in Paris July 27, 1757 and died in Paris October 12, 1837, was French lawyer and politician.
He was appointed mayor of the 12th arrondissement of Paris in 1815, during the Restoration. He was elected on February 25, 1824, deputy for the 7th arrondissement of the Seine, by 636 votes against 421 for Claude-Louis Salleron.
