Charles Frederick II of Württemberg-Oels 1690-1761

Son of the Duke Christian Ulrich I of Württemberg-Oels (1652–1704) from his second marriage to Duchess Sibylle Marie of Saxe-Merseburg (1667–1693), daughter of the Duke Christian I of Saxe-Merseburg. When his father died in 1704, Charles Frederick married on 21 April 1709 in Stuttgart with Sibylle Charlotte (1690–1735), the daughter of Duke Frederick Ferdinand of Württemberg-Weiltingen, a grandson of Julius Frederick, Duke of Württemberg-Weiltingen.

Prince Ferdinand, Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel 1721-1792

Ferdinand, Prince of Brunswick-Lüneburg, was a German-Prussian field marshal known for his participation in the Seven Years’ War. From 1757 to 1762 he led an Anglo-German army in Western Germany which successfully repelled French attempts to occupy Hanover.

Ludwig Wilhelm von Baden-Baden 1655-1707

Margrave Ludwig Wilhelm von Baden-Baden, called Türkenlouis  was regent in the Margraviate of Baden-Baden, builder of the castle in Rastatt, lieutenant general in the imperial army and a successful general in the wars against the Turks. The Ottomans called him the “Red King” because of his red uniform jacket, which could be seen from afar. He was first district general field marshal of the troops in the Swabian Reich District and Reich Field Marshal of the Heiligen Römischen Reiches Deutscher Nation.
