Jacob Heinrich Reichsgraf von Flemming 1667-1728

Jakob Heinrich von Flemming was a Saxon count, military officer and politician. He was born in Hoff, Prussian Province of Pomerania to a noble family. He completed his law studies in 1688, after which he entered service with Brandenburg. He attained the rank of general in 1705 and Generalfeldmarschall in 1711.

Keve I. Duke of Hungary

The son of Csele of the Zemény clan, was a legendary Hun leader in the 4th century. Keve was captain of a group of soldiers who headed west into Pannonia in the late 4th century. Captain Keve died during the Battle of the Tárnok Valley.

Johann Heinrich von Dünewald 1617-1691

Dünewald’s parents were Lorenz and Katharina von Dünewald. He was first in Swedish, later in imperial service. He distinguished himself in the Battle of St. Gotthard in 1664. He became a major general and was given command of a cuirassier regiment in 1670, which he was to lead for over twenty years. He later helped to defeat the French at Sasbach under Raimondo Montecuccoli and was therefore elevated to the rank of count by Emperor Leopold I in 1675 and became a general of the cavalry.
