Busso II von Alvensleben
Busso X von Alvensleben (1468 – 4 May 1548 in Wittstock) was a Catholic ecclesiastical diplomat and from 1523 to 1548 as Busso II, the last Catholic Bishop of Havelberg. He was the last Catholic bishop in Brandenburg and was buried in front of the high altar of St. Mary’s Cathedral in Wittstock. His tombstone was lost after renovations in the 1920s. As bishop, he put on a collection of relics and precious church utensils – following the example of Cardinal Albert’s Halle sanctuaries.

Johann Friedrich Hirt 1719-1783 German theologian
In 1775 he was appointed as the first professor of the theological faculty in Wittenberg. He thus became senior pastor at the Wittenberg town church , general superintendent of the Saxon electoral district and assessor at the Wittenberg consistory . He held these offices until his death in 1783. In his writings he deals with the exegesis of the Old Testament, Hebrew grammar and archaeology and other Semitic languages.

Louis William, Margrave of Baden-Baden 1655-1707

Leopold Wilhelm, Margrave of Baden-Baden 1626-1671
Second son of Wilhelm, Margrave of Baden-Baden and Catharina Ursula von Hohenzollern–Hechingen. He was also the uncle of Louis William, Margrave of Baden-Baden.
The first Reichs-Generalfeldmarschall of the Reichsarmee in 1664, he fought against Sweden in Pomerania and against the Turks in Hungary at the Battle of Saint Gotthard. He was Governor and head of the General staff in Warasdin, Croatia, which was part of the Holy Roman Empire (1198–1806).

Maximilian II Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria 1662-1726
Maximilian II also known as Max Emanuel or Maximilian Emanuel, was a Wittelsbach ruler of Bavaria and a Prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire. He was also the last governor of the Spanish Netherlands and Duke of Luxembourg. An able soldier, his ambition led to conflicts that limited his ultimate dynastic achievements.
He was born in Munich to Ferdinand Maria, Elector of Bavaria and Princess Henriette Adelaide of Savoy (d.1676). His maternal grandparents were Victor Amadeus I of Savoy and Christine of France, daughter of King Henry IV of France.

Sophia Dorothea of Hanover 1687-1757
Sophia Dorothea of Hanover was Queen in Prussia and Electress of Brandenburg during the reign of her husband, King Frederick William I, from 1713 to 1740. She was the mother of King Frederick II of Prussia.
At the time of Sophia’s birth, her father was merely the son of a German prince, Ernest Augustus, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg. It was not until 1701 that the Act of Settlement placed him, through his mother, in line to inherit the throne of Great Britain. Sophia was twenty-seven years of age, and had already become the Queen in Prussia and a mother of many children, by the time her father became King George I of Great Britain in 1714.
