Kond, chieftain of the Magyars (Hungarians)

Kond (Könd, Kund, Kend, Kende or Kurszán) was – according to chronicler Anonymus – one of the seven chieftains of the Magyars (Hungarians), who led the Hungarians to the Carpathian Basin in 895. Probably he was the father of Kurszán. His second son, Kaplon was the founder of the kindred of Kaplon.

Stephen V was King of Hungary and Croatia between 1270 and 1272, and Duke of Styria from 1258 to 1260. He was the oldest son of King Béla IV and Maria Laskarina. King Béla had his son crowned king at the age of six and appointed him Duke of Slavonia.
